The C:68 frame, a technical masterpiece
All models in this series are based on the C:68 monocoque frame from Cube. The Twin Mold process ensures that the carbon fibers are error-free and distributed in an optimal arrangement. This technology guarantees the unachieved stiffness, the enormous stability and the extremely low weight of these frame sets. The conical head tube and the preparation for installation of the Shimano Di:2 gears are just some of the technical features of this high-tech treat. Press Fit bearings, removable axles with boost technology and the option of integrating a stealth saddle support leave every possible additional option open to the driver. The optics with the clearly recognizable carbon structures and the ingenious multi-layer lacquering, fits the sporty orientation of the bike.
The Cube AMS 100 C:68 Race: 11.6 kg light racing machine
Cube does not do things by halves with the AMS series. With the entry-level variant "Race", customers already receive a fully ready to race at an absolute competition level. The Rock Shox Sid XX suspension fork and the Rock Shox Monarch XX dampers result in a perfect chassis that always works competently even in tight situations. The complete Shimano XT equipment is precise and durable and the large Shimano XT brake system is precise and point-exactly dosable. With the lightweight Fulcrum Red 55 wheelset, the bike weighs an incredible 11.6 kilograms, making it a real featherweight.
Shimano XTR and Kashima Coating - the noble SL equipment
In competition every millisecond and every gram counts. In the development of the top models, Cube always closely involves its own racing drivers in the planning. This ensures that the bikes perform and function perfectly under real conditions. The chassis of the Cube AMS 100 C:68 SL comes from Fox and both the 32 Float fork and the Float DPS shock come with a noble Kashima coating. For the equipment, Cube has opted for a continuous Shimano XTR group, which hardly needs further commenting. The wheelset, stem, handlebars and seat post come from Newmen and push the weight to an incredible 10.8 kilograms. The popular but restrained Teamline paint finish creates a serious impression, which emphasises the claim of this bike: off to the winners' rostrum!
A fully lighter than most hardtails - the Cube AMS 100 C:68 SLT
It was certainly no easy task for the product designers at Cube to design a bike that is even better equipped than the SL version of the series. The daring Cube AMS 100 C:68 SLT is a true reference in the field of professional cross country racers. The Kashima coating of the chassis ensures even more sensitive damping properties and minimizes mechanical abrasion of the components. The super noble Sram XX1 Egale equipment is continuous. With the Sram Level Ultimate brake, perhaps the most precise brake currently available is provided. The superlight Newmen Advanced SL X.22 carbon wheelset and the hand-selected remaining components result in a weight of 9.5 kilograms. This makes this Fully lighter than most mid-range carbon hardtails. The unbelievably noble look of the bike rounds off the overall picture and leaves a lasting impression.
