Let's start with the most important thing: you. Whether you are new to mountain bikes or already an advanced mountain biker, the "Twentyniner" will help you discover new sides to yourself that you probably didn't know about before. Our 29er fullys are equipped with features that match your preferences. So it doesn't matter what abilities you have acquired so far – either way, you will surpass yourself with one of our fullys. We will explain to you here what these characteristics are:
The tires
The 29-inch tires combine safety and comfort. First of all, the seating position is worth mentioning – because the rider sits "between the tires", as the bottom bracket is lower in relation to the wheel axle. This seating position is primarily designed to ensure your safety. When riding uphill, the front wheel rises less quickly, and downhill, the risk of tipping over is reduced. In contrast to its "smaller colleagues", the 29-inch tires have excellent off-road stability and also perform well on hard surfaces – which helps to relieve the tailbone and shoulders. On tricky terrain, for example off-road trails, the larger contact area of the tires makes the ride less exhausting – and it also means that the "twenty-niner" needs less suspension travel. The bikes react better and faster to obstacles because the rolling resistance is significantly lower than with comparable bikes with smaller wheel sizes. In addition, the large wheels provide more grip per square centimeter, which allows for more safety and control, even on downhill rides. We also promise less energy expenditure for more riding fun, because the 29-inch tires are extremely smooth-running and have excellent rollover behavior, which leads to an increased top speed and yet to stability when riding errors are made.
The riding style
It's not just the 29-inch wheels that make for a comfortable ride. Our bikes are all equipped with high-quality Shimano and Sram components – the best on the market. 130 to 140 mm of suspension travel is great fun when cornering. The lockout function, on the other hand, simply switches off the front and rear suspension at the push of a button when climbing hills, thus saving valuable energy. All this without sacrificing safety and fun. Our "Fullys" promise good handling and a more focused, fatigue-free ride. Once you set the "Twentyniner" in motion, you can overcome roots, stones and other obstacles without much effort – and, above all, without fear of falling.
The application
Whether it's challenging downhills in alpine terrain, technical trails with countless obstacles or a leisurely "Sunday stroll" – the "Twentyniner" is up to any challenge. It's not for nothing that it's the most popular bike in professional sports – whether in technically demanding cross-country races, Alpine tours or enduro races. The advantages speak for themselves and are completely independent of the environment. The only important thing is to have this "all-rounder" with you as a suitable companion, given the experiences it has had. We advise you to see for yourself our wide range of high-quality bikes. Because here you are not just choosing a bike, but a loyal and safe companion.
